First Aid

As a minimum, a workplace must have a first aid kit and a person appointed to look after first aid arrangements, but many workplaces will need to have at least one fully trained first aider – we can advise you on what you need and undertake any training required, including re-certification.

Precisely what you require in the way of qualified staff, training and training records will depend on a number of factors – how many staff you have and how dangerous your business is being two of the biggest. For example, an engineering workshop with dozens of operators using power tools and welding equipment will require significantly greater first aid provisions than a small administration office with ten staff. We can offer all the advice you need to determine how you should structure your first aid provision.
